I'm tryingo to set the Genius 56l PCI modem on my Linux but it doesn't work, do you have a driver os a way to do it?

Take the driver in... www.linmodems.org
for modem compatible Lucent...

Genius 56K-Flex have a chipset Lucent... then... download the driver and "untar" in your Linux!!!!

I have one Genius internal modem having chipset written on chipset is LUCENT1646REA12
9836S 5785140 96 LUCENT butI donot have any driver with me cau u please help me how can I get driver to insall into windows98.It is very good modem excellent performance please help me out to find the driver from Website please.

I emailed Genius and they told me "Device is not supported by Red Hat".
