Subject: Driver for CTX PL5 Monitor
Comment:

I'm trying to locate a Windows 95/98 driver for the above monitor. CTX's US web site was no help in locating the driver, so I went their UK web site and found a compressed file containing several drivers.

Two of these drivers are named CTX15.icm and CTX15t.icm. I'm not surev what to do with them. What is an ICM file anyway?

Anyone have any suggestions? My objective is to find a driver which will allow the monitor to funtion in 800x600 or better resolution mode, instead of 640x480.

Thanks,
hoWard

I'll answer my own question regarding what is a .ICM file.

When a driver information file [.INF] contains information about a family of products [e.g., different size monitors of the same manufacturer], driver information about each monitor in the family is stored in a separate .ICM file.

After the .INF file is selected, a window usually pops up, prompting one to select the appropriate .ICM file for the device being installed.
