i want to put windows 98se onto my laptop (toshiba m50-mx2)
it obviously doesn't support anything right away, so i gotta get drivers. but on toshibas website are only drivers for windows 2000 and window xp. aren't there any drivers for windows 9x?

I'm afraid that if they don't have win98 drivers on their website, you are probably out of luck. Manufacturers do not like to use manpower to build drivers for older operating systems. your best bet might be to install win2000 or XP.

There is a good chance you could use a program like Belarc Advisor.This would show you the video,sound ect....Then go to driverguide.com as mentioned by "{ichigo}The shinigami (death god)" and find the windows 98 drivers.
Summary: I have windows 95. In device manager there is a (!) over my Creative Labs Sound Blaster Pro. There are no conflicts. I have sound when games are played in DOS but not windows. I also get an error me...
