Is this an onboard adapter or a seperate card in a slot?

Right click on My Computer, choose Properties. Then choose Device Manager. Dbl-click on Display Adapters, and dbl-click on the adapter which surfaces below. Choose "Driver" then "Update Driver". Go through the prompts until you see "Have Disk". Click that, then point it to the directory (or device; floppy/CDROM) where you have stored the new drivers.

It's a good day when you learn something
