downloading and WEP security

I cannot go to some web sites.I cannot download active-x controls or flash player.I am on a wireless network with WEP security. Could this be my problem? Ideas

Yes I tried that. I also have firefox browser and have the same problem.

Aha, if you'd mentioned it happened on Firefox as well I would not have suggested IE Repair.

Dunno - there's always scanreg /restore (might be a registry corruption) but see what others say first.

Politely ask your ISP representative to flush their computers temporary DNS cache.

... might be worth emptying your own Temporary Internet Folder too - something might have got stuck.
