Hi there,
I've been trying to download some MS updates and in the middle of the down load I was disconnected. I was checking on one of the attempts and found a window saying something about inactivity and I will be disconnected in a few seconds. Is there some way to toggle this little feature off.
Thanks

That's your ISP disconnecting you. Nothing that you can do at your end except maybe to occasionally do other things on the net to keep the connection alive while the download is taking place.

If indeed it is your ISP disconnecting you, go to www.tucows.com, and look for the Internet Tools section. In there, there should be some utilities called "keepalive" programs or something like that. They will keep your connection open by periodically pinging a computer or something, so your ISP thinks you are still doing stuff.
