Double Fonts in Word Pad

Ever since installing a Lexmark 5700 Printer, I've had double (list) of fonts in word pad. I've concluded it's Lexmark by deleting this printer and also by faking the computer to believe there is another printer. Both times the font list is back to normal. I've spoken to Lexmark a million times and they said it's not their printer that's causing this. Is there anyway to eliminate this annoying problem? I have an IBM, Pentium III, 500mhz using win'98 Thanks!

I had the same problem, reinstalled the printer driver and it seemed to fix it. -Jean
