DOS partitioning!

trying to run fdisk to partition new hard drive(slave) but get error "NOspace to create a DOS partition, what is the solutions to this problem?

Could you please stick to one thread at a time in regard to the same matter, especially when the thread is still on the same page and therefor well in sight. Makes it much easier for anyone to keep track off.
And it would also avoid double postings.
