i set a game to run in dos mode then i shut down my computer and when it booted again later it tried to run the game but an error occured and any button i press it just restarts what do i do?

The game has probably made it's own config.sys and autoexec.bat files and is not reverting back to your originals when the game ends. Check my #4 here: http://www.computing.net/answers/wi...

How do I get here, and post a question here too? Upon getting ready to psot a questin, the pull down menu only says I can post to Winows X-P or Vista or to General Hardware section. Win 98 is not on the pull down list. Wm.

You should be able to just open the windows 95/98 forum page, go down to 'new topic' and post on the next page that opens.
