I have a compaq computer and I'm doing a quick restore on it to fix a few things. I did what the cd's prompted me to do but it won't exit them! It just sits on the blue screen with red Letters Compaq Quick Restore and doesn't do anything! Rebooting does not help as it just goes back to the same screen. Taking the disks out does not work either! What's wrong?

Hi,

Pls chk if the HDD is detected by BIOS,if it detect then Check the HDD media (boot via bootable floopy and run scandisk ) if there is any problem with HDD try to fix it, and then reboot through compaq Quick restore CD.

1. Problem may be in HDD (Media & Integ)
2. Problem With Compaq Quick Restore CD.

I think this will help you, If there is any problem send a reply through this Computing .net .
