Does anyone have a Win98SE CD?

Comment:
I have a CD that I made a long time ago with Wwin 98 and I dont know if its the OS itself or an upgrade from 98 to SE.
It has two folders in the root directory:
Win98 Win98_SE
Does anyone know if the Win98SE CD has these two folders? I'm doing a clean install with no OS on my system.

All the 98 cd's, first and second edition and upgrades, only have a 'win98' folder. You apparently made a cd with the cab files from both versions.
By the way, if you're installing 98 on that P-4, you'll need to remove some of the RAM. 98 has problems with RAM above 512 meg.

I suspect you copied the win98 folders from win98 and win98SE install CDs to that CD. You will need the product keys for each to install the one you choose.

Over 512 may work fine with 98, if it pulls any "low on memory" errors you may have to adjust the memory arena per the MSKB article.
Just do a search there for 512 and you will find it
