Display Trouble

My display is stuck on 640x480 16 color and I can't get any higher. I used to get it in high color and now it look like in Safe Mode but it is not. What is the problem anyway? This never happen before.

Usually its because something has happened to your video driver.

Check you display properties in Control Panel-Display-Properties to see if your Video adapter and your Monitor are listed properly.

Try re-installing those drivers.

right click"MY COMPUTER" and select "PROPERTIES" select the "DEVICE MANAGER" tab.click on the "PLUS" sign next to "DISPLAY ADAPTERS"then highlight the video card and select "PROPERTIES" then select the driver tab and update the driver....you will need the disk with the driver on it,like a floppy or cd
