DISPLAY PROPERTIES - APPEARANCE

I have two(2) questions: 1- In the display properties-appearance tab you of course can change the active window settings(fonts)of the active title bar, menu bar, and the window text itself, along with those of the message box. My problem is changing the font/icon sizes of the standard buttons, address bar and links in Internet Explorer and my e-mail system. Somehow in the last week these seem to have reduced to about a font of about 5 and I don't recall clicking on anything to change same! 2- I also realize that I can change the size of my desktop icons through display properties-effects to use large icons but why does the size of my text(fonts) below each icons stay the same size, that is small and does not change in accordance with icon. Any help out there would be appreciated!

Kevin, is you have a wheel mouse hold the ctrl key & roll wheel, this changes font size. OR click up there on the "VIEW" & go to TEXT SIZE & choose what you want there. Hope this is what you want... Speedy

Thank you but these two suggestions only change the text /font size in the main window and not the font/icon size on the Standard buttons, Address and Links bar!
