I have just got an old win98se box up and running, but it only runs with 16 colours. I have the display adapter drive CD,but don't know what adapter is in the box. I have tried running PC Wizard 2005 but this will not run unless 256 colours or more. Is there any other way to find out which adapter I have in the box.

http://www.hwinfo.com DOS version.
Boot with W98 floppy then run HWINFO from another floppy.
