Comment: The other day I went into the BIOS setup and changed the option "auto config with optimal settings" and changed the settings from N to Y thinking it would do something else but since then my display adapter has changed somehow and now I can't see anything whatsoever. I've changed it back to its original settings (with great difficulty) but it hasnt solved the problem. Can someone please help? Reply: (edit)I'm wondering if you have on-board video and an add-on video card. If you were using the latter and your BIOS switched back to on-board this could cause the problem. Have you by any chance got two sockets which take the monitor plug (on-board & add-on)? Derek.W

Reply: (edit)Yeah, in that case you'd need to connect to your on-board video port until you can properly reconfigure the add-on card. When you say you can't see anything on the screen, does that include the posting screen when you first turn on the computer?
