Don't understand the word "spanding". Do you mean "spanning" (like in burning CD's)?

yess spanning to floppys like put files that are to big for 1 floppy can you use it.

Windows98 does not support disk spanning the way you are describing it.

However, WinZIP (and other similar compression tools) does allow you to compress files to a floppy where the compressed file would be spanned to multiple floppies if the compressed file was greater in size than 1.38 MB.

Is this what you are after?

There are also many shareware/freeware utilies that allow you to do that without compression.
