disconnecting problems

I am still having problems when in O/E 6 when I click on to the button send& receive emails, I am immediately cut off from internet..
I have carried out most checks that I know of, is there something I am missing out,

Hi,

Did you check Tools/options/connections? In O/E...Remove all checks, and let IE do the dialing..

At least uncheck 'Hang up after sending and receiving'.
