Is it possible to disable the windows logon for win98 so when a new user logs on though the network the windows logon doesn't show? If there is an answer please tell me

go to settings --> control panel --> network --> primary network logon --> then change it to windows logon instead of family logon

The only thing you have to do is go to start/find/files/ and type *.pwl you should see file or files "username.pwl" just delete it. and restart. this worked for me.

Go to start/find/files/ and type *.pwl you should see file or files "username.pwl" just delete it. and restart. You may get a windows logon the first time you reboot but if you do not put in a password and just click on ok then from then on you should go straight to the network logon. This one plagued me for a long time and that is how I finally resolved it.
