Disabling Onboard Video Chip

Hi, I have a TX PRO 2 motherboard and it has has onboard video. I have just purchased a new 3d card, and when I install it, it only works at 16 colors and 640x480. Also, I often get error messages.. PLEASE HELP!!!.. Email me if possible!

David: Do you have the manual for your motherboard? It should show you what jumpers to move around in order to disable your on-board video card. Also check your Bios setup in conjunction with the above.

On board video sometimes cannot be disabled. Look for a jumper, or possibly a BIOS setting to disable it. Are you sure you have the drivers for the new 3D card installed?
