I have a mx59 pro motherboard with onboard graphics and also have a voodoo 2 pci card installed. How could i disable the onboard graphics so i can just use the voodoo 2 card. This is a problem as i can't run any decent games

Dear Luke:
The only way possible to disable the on-board video is IF your BIOS allows you to disable it. You cannot disable on-board video if the BIOS does not have this disabling feature (it cannot be shut off by windows, as BIOS setting always take precedence over windows!).
Reboot the computer and hold down the DEL key or the F1 key (90% chance its one of these two). When in BIOS, carefully look for anything which says ON-BOARD VIDEO, or something similar...Select DISABLE.
Now, you will have to ENABLE your AGP or PCI video card. BIOS should allow for you to do this also, by saying something like PRIMARY DISPLAY ADAPTER, and give you the choices such as PCI, AGP, or MONO.
Pick AGP. Set the memory to allow for the memory size of the card, which you will have to find out. But I would set it to at least 32 Megabytes.Reboot. You should boot into Windows 98 with the display card instead of on-board video.

Pick AGP if you have an AGP card or PCI if you have PCI...correction.
Also, make sure that you have set your driver to standard VGA before you do this, and have your CD ready to install the new graphics card driver before disabling on-board video.

Luke,You could also go to a search engine(i would use yahoo)and type in your motherboards numbers to see if theres a jumper setting on the board that will disable your onboard video card if theres not a setting in the bios to do this.
