I work for a school and most of the PCs login into the network via a domain. So when we use the Microsoft Network Client then it is fine that the domain box pops up for the Network login. but in the case we have a PC that is on a sseparate network in its own workgroup. All i want to do is have the network login box have the user name and password boxes. I have went into the Client properties and uncheked the NTDomain box and cleared out the domain. But when i reboot the box still pops up but with a blank domain. And when the user logins in with the username and password it doesnt work becuase it's still trying to go to some domain. Please someone tell me if i am missing a step or what.
I know it is possible to do becuase my home network has the same microsoft client selected but no domains are used. So when my home pc boot up all i get is the username password boxes and it logs in fine.
