also...anything that uses directx does not work and the computer does not regonize WAV files anymore
dr watson says that the display driver is not a windows 95 plug and play compatable driver...i am using win98

Hello Dave, I have been having the same problem. Although I have downloaded and installed the latest DirectX driver it doesn't seem to to be working. Unfortunatly I haven't been able to get any help w/ this problem. Good Luck & let me know if you find out anything new. Thanks.
