Direct Cable Connection

The Computer Help tells me to go to Start/Programs/Accessories/ and open the DCC but its not there? Can anyone tell me where to install it FROM??

You can't see it because it is not installed on your computer yet. Go to Add\Remove Programs in your conrol panel. Next, you should see "communications" there. Highlight it and click details and then check the Direct cable connection and then click "OK in all the windows. Make sure you have your Win 98\95 disk in the rom drive. Good luck

I did the add/remove - communications - DCC and nothing installed from the Win95 CD. Does anyone know which of the cab files has DCC in it for the install?

Put your win95 cd in and goto find files or folders, then point to X:\Win98 (X is your CD-Rom drive) and in the containing text field type paralink.vxd, That is on e of the files needed. If you know the names ofthe other files you can also find what cab their in. Also, in the named section put *.cab
