Hi,

The name DIMM comes from "Dual Inline Memory Module" right? Which means that on both sides of the module are chips placed right?
Well,I have purchased DIMM modules before and it always had chips on both sides but not this time, can it still be DIMM or is it maybe SIMM then? But if i am not mistaking SIMM has a different connector.

Anybody any ideas?

Thanks!

Your right, DIMM don't mean it has chips on both side. Cuz if that was true then I must be using alot of SIMMs that were DIMMs huh?

DIMM and SIMM don't have anything to do with the placements of the chips.
