Have you tried running AdAware 6 and Spybot Search & Destroy? if not download these software titles (Free) update and run them, this hopefully will rectify your problem.

Try running a Spyware program like AdAware, Spybot, or HijackThis..also update your antivirus and run a scan

Have tried these and they dont seem to be able to find the problem.!!

Thanks

You can manually remove this dialer. Firstly using a process monitor like winpatrol, you can find the dialer running in the background. Note the file name then kill the process. Open up regedit (click start, go to run and type regedit, then hit ok) Do a search for this file name and remove any found entries. Finally delete the file from your hard drive.
You can get the tools i mentioned in the freeware section of the software downloads at http://www.anti-trojan.org

many thanks I eventually found the problem with Winpatrol which was a very useful way of understanding what is going on.

After this I braved the registry edit function and removed the file

Winupdate exlove.exe

Problem solved!!
