Is your modem properly installed? Recognized in Device Manager? Did you Query the modem to make sure it's working?

How to Check the Modem Installation in Windows XP

EDIT: Your OS is listed as WinXP but I just realized that this question is posted in the Win95/98 forum. Which OS are you asking about?
