I need some real help and fast! eek I have formated and installd different operating systems on my pc before but now it is hard to get a operating system to be stable Windows 98 wont even finish installing Windows ME crashes TOTALY after 3 days and stops working Win 2000 works for a few weeks then Fatal errors stat coming same with XP so anyone out there got any ideas on how i can solve this prob as i really wan't to go back to 98 and it to work lol:) Cheerz

Need clues. How far does win98 get in installing ? What is the error message ?

failing/faulty RAM, failing hard-drive - are just two possibilites...
More detailed info would be helpful?

Had the same problems a couple fo times....turned out to be boot sector virus..have you tried re-partioning the hard drive prior to reinstalling the O/S? Worked for me.

Just my two cents worth. I had this problem a month ago and it turned out to be a bad processor chip. If possible you might want to swap the processor out and give it another try. HTH
