Comment:

Every time I change from Windows 98 to DOS I am forced to reposition the window on the screen of my monitor (Philips 105B).

I was advised already that my monitor should save the settings but apparently it is not doing so.

How can I make both screens position match on the CRT?

Thanksī

Noni

do you have the correct monitor profile loaded?
display properties>settings>advanced>monitor

Although this is more for color correction, it may also include desktop to monitor positioning.

Same problem here, when i switch to DOS the new resolution forces my viewable area to the right and i have to manually move it back. I solved it by making the changes and never turning off the monitor. Each time i shut off the monitor the settings were forgotten. Different monitor by the way.
