Why is it (and i've always had this problem with Windows 98 in the past) that when I change my icon fonts, menu bar fonts etc to Tahoma, on the next reboot they change to Times New Roman? It's really annoying, and I have never been able to work out why Win98 can't keep the settings?

Any ideas?

Cheers

It suggests that it is not performing a proper shutdown. It must do so in order to save your settings otherwise it reverts back to the last proper saving.

Thanks for the reply.

Thing is, I am shutting it down properly and ok. And it only seems to happen when I try and use Tahoma.

If it's only that particular font then maybe MS decided that there was some character or characters that were unsuitable for W98SE. Just a wild guess.
