I'm trying to get online with this computer and internet explorer will not cooperate. I get the message that internet explorer has preformed an illegal operation and has to close. I'm getting an error message on boot up. Config.sys error line 32.

Are you using dialup or something else? Have you used the Internet connection wizard? What version of Internet Explorer are you using?

Do you also have more than one computer connected to the router? If so, can you see the other computer/s? You might try a repair of IE6.

You must have a heluva config.sys if it contains at least 32 lines. Post back its contents.

The config.sys error is probably not related to the IE problem.
