I remove the password from my Dell latitude CPi D300xt a04 in the following way
1. remove the cmose battery for an hours or two.
2. boot the system up without; hard disk, battery ( run on main power),. At the password screen, go to the back where the ram modual is and remove the CMOS Bios chip (ie the AM29f002t). The system should shutdown after a few second.
3. Put the CMOS chip back and also unplug and re-plug the main power. Befor boot it up again, hold the ESC key and power up the system. During the boot proccess, you should hear a couple of beep sound and if everything when to plan the error screen should come up asking you to press F1 to re-boot or F2 to enter the setup menu.
hope this help
