Used a program: IERADICATOR to rip out Internet Explorer from my system. Worked nicely for 3 years or so..no problems. Recently saw some stuff I thought should go and ran it a again.
Now Ghost 2003 can't find ibmbio.com even though that file is everywhere that it belongs. I tried adding the complete file location into the PATH statement in autoexec.bat...no help.

I am guessing that some file pointers got mangled or cut somehow, but I am lost as to a fix.

Any suggestions anyone?

Thanks,

Mandrake

Once you muck up the system using a program such as IERADICATOR, it's difficult to say how to repair the damage. If you reinstall Win98 over itself, it "should* straighten things out, but IE will return. You can always remove it again.

I've had very good luck with a program called 98lite & I especially like the 98/95 "hybrid" that doesn't have the IE integration. I just set up an old P1 166MMX/64MB system with the "sleek" configuration the other day & it's unbelievably fast for such an old machine.

Just realized that ieradicator comes from the same place!

... used ghost many a time it'll work with 98 floppy without ibmbio.com .

... you reinstalling IE will not improve your ibmbio.com problem.
