I have tried to empty my cache files. Two files (Webpool file file and, Jet1283.temp) in Temporary Files the computer will not delete. There is a message box that says "ERROR DELETING FILE Access is denied, make sure that disc is not full,or write-procted, and that file is not currently in use!
Are these malicious files or is there good some reason not to delete these files?
Tim, What folder are these files in? Also the file names can't be right, as filenames have 3 character extensions. Are you sure they are not folders? Al

Tim, Shut down computer, restart to dos. At dos prompt, type "attrib -h -s -r c:\windows\temp\*.*" without quotes, enter. Then type "del c:\windows\temp\*.*" without quotes, enter. The files should be gone, if they are files, not folders. (you didn't answer that part of my question.) Al
