You are absolutely right to try Control Panel/Add-Remove (or an Uninstall if provided).

Some programs (usually older ones) have no uninstall so the only option left is to delete its files.

If any these games are run from desktop icons or the start menu then right click the item/Properties and it will tell you where the program file resides. There is a fair chance that most other files for the same game will be located with the .exe file.

Take a note of the date/time any folders used for the games because this might help to locate any other files present elsewhere for the same game (Start/Find/Files or Folders).

Take care to ensure that you don't delete anything you shouldn't. If in doubt leave the file in place. Keep all deleted files in the Recycle Bin until you have booted up again and seen that all is well.

There is a possibility that when the files are gone there will be the odd "file missing" report. In which case an entry in system.ini or the registry is likely. A registry cleaner is useful for the latter. If necessary report back and we will try to help.

I would suggest deleting "one game at a time" then rebooting. It will then be easier to temporarily restore files if something unexpected should happen.

Browse through the game folder. Occasionally there'll be an uninstall.exe or unwise.exe there that doesn't show in add/remove programs.
