Hi! How do i go about deleting some entries in the Startup tab in the Msconfig utility? The reason i want to do this is because i had to reinstall McAfee Virus Scan several times and each installation entered five startup entries, and they are all unchecked now, but i want to completely get rid of them from the tab.

Go to HKEY_CURRENT_USER and HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\Software\Microsoft\Windows\Current Version\Run and Run-. You can delete them from here. Be careful and be sure you have backed up your Registry. Here is a link to a site that will explain just about all startup items. http://www.pacs-portal.co.uk/startup_pages/startup_full.htm. Hope this helps.
