Hi, after totally deleting my cookies, temp internet files and history when i revisit a site the links that i have visited are still brown and so are visible and show i have been there???? I cant understand this so i thought it could be them mad cookies that only stay with you for the session that your surfing and are not stored,so i try the next day and the link colours are still different??????? How can i stop this, surely after all those are deleted the links should turn blue and show i havent been there? Thanks

You have to clear your History folder to remove the links visited info - it is not related to cookies.

If all else fails, Tools/Internet Options/Colors/-> under Links, make visited and unvisited the same color. Nobody would know you went *there* :-)

Just a guess..Try Start/Setting/Task Bar and Start Menu/Start Menu Programs and Documents Menu. This seems to get rid of just about everything. I did not try cause I like to know which links I have clicked on before and don't care whom else knows. lol

I had this problem too, but if you clear history and delete files from the tools menu, internet options and not by going to the folder and manualy deleting them they do go away.
