You don't Delete - you Un-install in Add and Remove Programs.
If you did Delete, and you are having problems related to AOL files, you have to install the same version again and then Un-install it. If you're not having any problems related to AOL files, you don't need to do anything.

Un-installs, especially of huge program packages, often do not remove everything that was installed - they remove at least enough necessary to prevent it's components from running and possibly interfering with other things in Windows - there may be some files and registry entries left behind. If you're not having any problems related to AOL files, you don't need to do anything. If you want to clean up the mess it left behind and regain more free space, you could try the programs suggested by dosser or Bob, or if you have Norton System Works, you can get rid of the useless AOL entries with Windows Doctor - you can run it from the CD without installing System Works, but then it can't un-do the changes it makes - I have had no problems with it running that from the CD. Or you could look on the AOL site to see if it has info about how to, or a utility to, clean up what is left behind.
