Can anyone help me please. My hard drive is segmented in 4 areas. I did a scan disc on all of them. I got a message that said "no errors were found on this drive. I did a through scan. When I went to do a defrag all the drives defrag okay except D drive. I keep getting a message that say's "Windows cannot finish defrag of this drive as it has encountered a problem". I have now done a scan 3 times and each time I get a message that says "did not find any errors on this drive". I CAN'T DEFRAG D DRIVE! I'm running Windows 98 se and Internet Explorer 5.5. Any ideas as to what wrong here? This is the first time this has happened. Defrag is done on a regular basis. Thanks Mike

I'm not sure about the problem but have you tried the Me defrag utility? It's super fast & compatible w/98. I spose there is a small chance that it might solve the problem as well. Download @ www.surecool.com Would like to hear the results either way.
