Is it right that the font style used for the alt tag in the image tag in IE6 is set by some entry in the Windows Registry? I would like to change that to give bold text and if possible in blue color.

I tried to look it up, but version IE4 was in use when windows 98 was released. I don't see any index entry at all regarding fonts, characters, or references to them under Internet Explorer 4.0. Sorry.

mavis007, a alt tag is the lable you see when you hold your mousepointer in position on a image in a webpage. The alt tag is not mandatory and therefor you will not always see such a lable, a nice example is to be found with the icons at the top of the thread.
