Win 95 IE 5.5
How do I change the default search engine, the one that is automatically used when something is typed into the address bar? The one that was being used was the Microsoft one, but now for some reason this as changed. The Internet Explorer I installed was not branded in any way, and I don't think anything I have installed as interfered with it. I know WebPages can have scripts to add a page to the favourites, is it possibly that a dodgy script as done this to the search tool? I looked in the regedit, but that looks right.

This is something that I'm not familiar with, but can't you change the search engine by clicking on the search icon in the toolbar and selecting 'customize'?

When I click the search button, the split srceen is right with the http://search.msn.com/ page in the window. Its just when I type something in the address bar at the top, that it sends me to h11p://www.websearch123.com.
