If you mean from the Address Bar do this. This works in IE 5.5. Search\Customize\Autosearch Settings(Bottom of Page) Click the arrow and pick Goggle Sites.

After you click on customize you need to click on Autosearch Settings on the bottom left of that window then you will see google sites listed.

or cut and paste the below into Notepad. Rename it google.reg.
Right click on it and select Merge.
--------------
REGEDIT4

[HKEY_CURRENT_USER\Software\Microsoft\Internet Explorer\Main]
"Search Page"="http://www.google.com"
"Search Bar"="http://www.google.com/ie"

[HKEY_CURRENT_USER\Software\Microsoft\Internet Explorer\SearchURL]
""="http://www.google.com/keyword/%s"

[HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\SOFTWARE\Microsoft\Internet Explorer\Search]
"SearchAssistant"="http://www.google.com/ie"

Of course always back up your registry before making any changes to it just in case you change your mind.
