Hi People,

I've had to replace an Aopen MX3W PRO motherboard into a new case and powersupply. However when starting up in the new case the power supply fan comes immediately on and the power light to the motherboard comes on and that's about it. Nothing else

I have personally used the MX3W Pro-V for over a year now and sorry yours is on the bum. It's been a great board for me. The diagnostic questions include:

1. How many watts is your new power supply? I'm using 250; you might squeak by with 200 but less than that is unwise.

2. Try checking the power and restart switches and their board connections. Case makers have been known to mislabel the "power" and "restart" switch cables.

3. Reverse your steps. Disconnect all daughter boards and the power connectors on your hard, floppy and CD Rom drives; then reconnect all the "outboards" one at a time.

4. Be suspicious of even a new power supply. If all these suggestions fail, try a different power supply as a substitute.

I hope one of these tips leads you to the problem!

Triple check the motherboard jumper settings.
