I am getting an error message every time I start win95 stating the ddraw.dll file can not start check the file to determine the problem. My modem also no longer works this happenend after I installed a Xerox Docuprint P12
On Jan. 1 we can no longer use our Links LS or Microsoft Gold it keeps telling us that we have lost files. The most curretn file is ddraw.dll. How can we retrieve something that is lost?

I had similar problems with games. What helped me was (re)installing DirectX v7.0a. You can download it at: http://www.microsoft.com/downloads/release.asp?ReleaseID=16819

GET Directx 8.0!!!!
this will solve ddraw.ddl probs. i just figured this out, however, now there is another problem, it starts to start thawk2 but then he screen turns black and i cant do anything. ive seen ways to fix this though so i think it wont be to hard (somthing minor)

Please send me the ddraw.ddl file so that my dauther can play, "froger2 swamy's revenge" it won't run with out it and she just got the game on Christmas.
