Hi all,

Hope someone can give me a quick explanation as to how or what i need to do next...sorry but i thought this would be easier than it's turned out to be! I remember it differently the last time i made a database in works 97!

Anyway, for a small business i have made a table with all the details required such as name, address, county, order product A, product B, email, notes etc. and can mail merge fine...half the job done for mail lables but how do i query the database if say someone phones up.

This is quite possibly the stupidest question i've ever asked on here but hey ho!

If I were to take their postcode to see their details (if they'd ordered before), what next? What, apart from the massive table i have built already, am i missing to finish the job? I've tried queries but they just bring up another screen that has loads of info on it and i just cant seem to find out where i type in something like postcode=PO99 9AL and then get one value returned!!!!!

Please help my poor ignorance before i kill the computer =)

Although I have made many databases using Access I am not familiar with Works, so the best I can offer is the site below which is a Works database tutorial. Good luck.
