I bought a new computer and I would like to transfer data from my laptop to my computer. I have lap link serial cable that I bought. What kind of software do I need to do the transfer? How do I do it?
Laptop has NT 4.0 workstation and desktop has Windows 98.
Any help is greatly appreciated. If you can copy your answer to my eMail address, it will be great help.

Hi, my question is almost the same as displayed on your page: I have a laptop (Win98), and a desktop (Win95). Could you please tell me the name of a program that will allow me to transfer data. (I tried FX, it did not work). Thanks for your time and service.
