Don't know what a 'WMV' file is. Are you sure that's correct?

A 'DAT' file is a common extension used by many programs for different purposes. There is no common program that can handle them all. If it's a multimedia file, Windows media player 'might' be able to play it.

Try a Google search for .wmv and then .dat

The player at the top of the list here does .wmv
