Here it is:
When IE6 is active my shiftkey does not work right. Every time I try and use the shift key my computer switches to a different active IE6 window. I tend to like having more than one window open at a time. But if I do, and use my shiftkey, it sends me to a different IE window....If I have only one window open, but as soon as I open IE with anything else.... same problem.... and it always switches me to an IE window.
As long as IE is not on,my shift key act normally.
Also, I a switched out keyboards with the same effect.
I also have removed and reinstalled IE6, same problem.

I do not know where the "input locales" settings are found. I found a Regional settings choice in the the control panel. Mine is set for English USA.
I am no sure if this is what you are talking about. I am willing to try most anything. If worse comes to worse I will format this drive and start over...but I am wanting other options.
