My monitor will not show the first 2 screens of boot up. I have tried 3 other monitors which show all of the boot up screens.

My system - AMD 450 K6 3. Diamond 770 Ultra
Win 98 V.2 Upgrade

G'day Bill, I could be wrong but I vaguely recall that there is a switch in the BIOS somewhere that can skip some dianostic checks during the Power On Self Test [POST] and maybe it is disabled depending on your BIOS name, as I said I could be wrong, but if it is only 1 monitor doing it, well then I don't know.

What does CTX have to say about it?
Do you have the proper driver .inf file installed? (Which most likely is not related, but it should be installed
regardless)
Have you tried the monitor on another system?
Heres the driver addie, I believe.
