Comment:
I have a Win 98 PC and have ctfmon.exe and mosearch.exe on my system in the msconfig startup. I also have the same problems as old '01 thread, disk keeps processing even when I have nothing running. I understand that these files are XP files and have no idea how they got into my win98 system. (althoug may have been my FranklinPLus app that also supports XP??. I'm afraid to delete them though, 'cause don;t know what they do for me?? Can anyone help me determine if it's OK for me to do the procedures from '01? Want my Franklin app, or whatever else may be the root cause, to keep working.
