Creative Live! tool bar

Comment:
I have had to reinstall XP, and consequently all drivers, including Creative Sound Blaster Live!.
I now find that Creative has installed a tool bar at the top of the screen. It appears when I move the mouse pointer to the top. I do not want this intrusive tool bar, it is very distracting and it is covering my useful shortcut icons.
Does anyone know how to disable it? There seems to be no option in any Creative sound program to do this.

There's an option in the msconfig that will keep it from starting.
Start > Run > msconfig
Hope this helps

If XP still uses MSCONFIG, the entry will be titled; Creative Launcher. If XP doesn't use MSCONFIG, try posting in the XP forum.

If XP didn't use MSCONFIG I wouldn't have said that. C'mon smart one. Dan, think before you speak.

Well Jeeez TJ, I'm not familiar with XP, hence my wording of the post, and why I post in this forum and not the XP forum. Sorry to have set you off. If you like, I could leave and never come back.

Don't leave, Dan! We need you.
I just go to Start, Programs and to the Startup tab, and delete the dang thing. It's easy and permanent.
HTH :)

I don't really care if you answer a post...but you clearly stated you know nothing about XP...why post an answer to something you know nothing about?
I don't mind people helping people...that's what these forums are for...but make sure the answer you give is something YOU know will work.

The core of my posting dealt with the title of the program to look for; Creative Launcher. Not XP.
C'mon smart one. TJ, think before you speak.

if you right click on the left end of the toolbar, you'll have lots of options, including starting/stopping on bootup, it sometimes helps to read those readmes and even to look through the 'help' included with the application/program!!!
